2018 Arctic Physical Therapy Scholarship Winner

Danielle Maynard is from Chugiak, Alaska and graduated from Chugiak High School. She will be attending Wingate University for the Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

"Thank you so much for selecting me to receive the Arctic Physical Therapy Scholarship! I am glad you enjoyed reading my entry and am pleased to inform you that I will be attending graduate school for physical therapy at Wingate University in North Carolina, starting in January. This scholarship topic was very important to me and it means a great deal to me to receive these funds to help with my education as this is a second chance for me to start a wonderful career in helping people. I have chosen to return to school to start a new career and have worked and saved in order to attend school. I will be putting the funds towards tuition to help eliminate some of the loans I will be taking out.”
