Austin Heath is from Provo, Utah and graduated from Peak High School in Highland, Utah. He is attending BYU and studying Statistical Science.

"I am grateful for the Arctic Physical Therapy Scholarship award. The scholarship will allow me to focus on finishing an undergraduate thesis project this semester. For the thesis, I have directed the formation of a faculty/student team that has developed a decision tree for the course, along with 300+ real-world scenarios. Our work has caught the attention of the course manager and will be featured in a future course pilot. This pilot will measure the impact of decision-based education on student performance and attitudes. Successful deployment of the pilot course has the potential impact to benefit more than one thousand students each semester."
